Africa Vacation
2011

Is Africa a cool vacation spot?
I wanna go on vacation and I think Africa would be fun, but i’ve never been there and neither have any of the people I know…
Check out South Africa, Durban and a few other coastal cities are amazing. Also, if you are into wildlife or safaris this is the continent to go. There are hundreds of 5 star resorts in various stable countries. I know Outside magazine features a lot of them. You can lounge and view the savanna from your living room while eating breakfast and see a pride of lions roam by. Safety assured, but fairly costly. As with any traveling, do your research to find how safe an area is and know the basic laws of the country you are traveling to. To those that say Africa is too dangerous is generalizing an entire continent. Yes Sudan is terrible but there are places in South Africa that are safer than Detroit. Not to mention pyramids in Egypt or the island of Madagascar. Open your mind and you’ll have a lot of fun.
