Don’t Travel Alone
There are quite a few travel forums on the web these days. They can be a great place to meet friends, swap tips, get advice and learn about some far flung destinations, that maybe, you hadn’t previously considered. However, most of these forums are regular travel based and not always aimed at one particular group of the market.
Many of the forums I have visited in various subjects have died a death after a few months. Questions left unanswered, people just there to promote their own web sites etc.. This is such a shame when many of the other niche based forums are buzzing every day.
At FindSingleTravellers.com you will find a new forum, based primarily on single travel, with contributions from seasoned travellers helping other solo travellers find some friends to travel with. Of course, we exchange ideas and offer advice, ask and answer questions like any other travel forum but with one exception; we all have a passion for adventure travel not just your 2 week holiday in Spain!
Because our main site is visited and updated daily, we have monitored the activity in our forum and can honestly say that it really is buzzing, but we need more members as are site is relatively new.
We have a great community spirit and the forum is packed with tips and advice for going it alone, safety issues, where to avoid, where to sniff out cheap deals, useful contacts and some links to other great forums to get involved with plus much, much more.
If you would like to join in our Forum for free, and we would love to hear from you, please visit us at http://www.findsingletravellers.com and click on the big orange Forum tab at the top of the page!
We look forward to seeing you there.

Jim and I: Jim Morrison and Other Friends $20.95 jim and i, is a poetic memoir of a young painter by a painter: a story of friendships.Jim Morrison the poet-singer and Michael met at UCLA. They shared creative notes. Later in the roman-fleuve their friendship provides an interior mirror each for the other. The painter meets an older woman in Spain and they travel together to other exotic places; Morocco, Barcelona, Paris and eventually to Afghanistan weaving a curious erotic dialogue. The relationship the young artist has to his own creative parents presents a mother focused as a writer and his father a well-known character actor. The family leaves Hollywood during the chaos of the McCarthy period to find a new life in Rome, Italy. This shift offers curious influences in a young boy’s life discovering a foreign land. The blending of meeting Humphrey Bogart and seeing Michelangelo’s and Picasso’s works gave Michael Lawrence a unique perception viewing life from the Roman Forum. The world his stage reveals this account as the treasures he found in people and art. It is a book by a young enthusiast struggling to be embraced. A cinematic flow suggests a philosophy flourishing inside the author’s bohemia. You have poetry inside your head and you have learned to explode them with firecracker tubes of paint. Ray Bradbury |

Let’s Go Rome $0.01 You could probably figure out how to buy an espresso, visit the Colosseum, and order a pizza on your own. But if you”re dying to do something a little more exciting than absent-mindedly wish you had a moped while you walk to the Forum, pick up a copy of Let”s Go Rome and let the insights of our student researchers guide you like Vergil did Dante–but with fewer drawn out similes. More than any other city, Rome mixes an epic history with an epic present. And more than any other travel guide, Let”s Go Rome mixes what you need to know — the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel are free on the last Sunday of each month — with what you”re dying to find out. Our witty student writers know just what you want, from the best gelato to the most realistic sculptures of naked gods, and our neighborhood-by-neighborhood coverage will ensure that you won”t get lost between the Trevi Fountain and that tiny trattoria. |
