When and Where to Travel in India

India is a land of all seasons; there are very few countries in the world where you can really enjoy the heat of summers along with chilling winters. India is a nightmare holiday that plunders every tourist with the never-ending visitor attractions. India is lucky in having one of the worlds most wide spread and productive domain, made up of the great earth. Seasons in India can be divided into group of months like March to June is Hot Summer, July to October is heavy rainy season also called Mansoon and November to February is Chilling Winters. If you are planning to travel to India it will be better to know when and where to go to enjoy most of the country.

Summer:
Summers in India are diverse in dissimilar states. In northern region it’s extremely dried up and along the coast it is extremely moist. It depend on you what type of climate you like better. If you are looking for some enjoyable climate then you should move to Mussorie, Nainital but if you really desire to feel the temperature then Rajasthan is the place. In South India, I would suggest Munnar. It’s a truly charming city set among gorgeous tea plantations. It is not yet a large traveler target yet, so is not spoilt. Those with spiritual leaning may find Badrinath, Kedarnath as nice outings. Those with an impulse for adventure; I would propose Valley of Flowers, Manikarna near Kullu, Manali-leh driving, & Man-Sarovar.

Winter:
Most excellent parts in India to see throughout chilling winter are Rajasthan and southern parts of India. These regions are actually very hot in summer and hence winter – Sept to Jan is the greatest time. You can also go for wild life tour. If you prefer snowfall and chilling winters then Northern India is the place. You can go to Kashmir, Shimla, Dalhousie, Mussorie. Then while returning back come via Amritsar and New Delhi. You can also go to Agra, Jaipur and Chandigarh from New Delhi. These places are worth visiting places and Agra’s Taj Mahal is off course world famous.

Rainy Season:
To imagine about it, rain makes the valley lush. Its all shades of green but the off beaten track at the same time, is what gets washed in the rain. When monsoon rains sweep across the country with daily downpours and a high possibility of flood makes traveling hard except North West which includes Rajasthan and Gujarat is predominantly dry and arid with the Thar Desert occupying the far western area. The monsoon has small or no effect on the climate and precipitation is negligible throughout the year. Many municipalities in Rajasthan are made up of sacred lakes and these are at their most excellent during monsoon season. For an example you can think of Aravali hills around Fatehsagar and Pichola lakes in Udaipur.

It is better to prepare well in advance about your travel and plan few things like how you will be traveling and where you will stay. There are excellent hospitality services available on all parts of the country. It will be better to book hotel well in advance, you can do so from many online Hotel Booking web sites. There is wide array of cheap hotels and budget hotels in India if you are on a budget trip. Always compare rates on internet before booking and try to negotiate as much as you can.
