The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, based in the Caribbean has much to offer through culture, beaches, food and nature resorts. There may be two islands by name and by the separation of water, but certainly a link between the residents of these islands.

Carnival

Each year thousands go on the island of Trinidad to take advantage what is known as the best carnival in the world. Carnaval Monday and Tuesday are the days before Ash Wednesday in the Catholic calendar. The explosion of colors in the costumes, the celebration of the people, the infectious music, Calypso, Steelband and beautiful women are all gathered to send a message to the world that no one should miss the Carnival Trinidad.

Food

Trinity and Tobago is well known for its spicy food. A popular and most sought after dish during Visit Tobago crab and dumpling. In Trinidad, you can not visit without trying Doubles, Roti Pelau, duck and chicken curry, macaroni pie and a host of many other foods. Food is tasty and well seasoned and everyone keeps coming back for more food, some never seem to be enough!

Beaches and diving equipment

Tobago reefs allow snorkeling and diving, the emphasis on caution when diving and swimming not to destroy the reef. For those who can not swim is also a boat glass bottom out in the Buccoo reef in an area known as the Nylon Pool, which is clear and shallow and warm, this boat gives everyone the opportunity to share this beauty natural.

Maracas Beach in Trinidad is the most visited by locals and tourists. It is located north of the island and no visits to a range of maracas, without buying a furnace and the shark for lunch.

Pitch Lake

This fascinating geological mystery has been discovered by Sir Walter Raleigh in 1595. Located in La Brea in southwest and the island is the largest deposit of asphalt in the world. Pitch Lake attracts over 15,000 visitors a year.

Other Highlights

Bird watching, turtle watching, cycling, kayaking, hiking trails are there between the many activities for the whole family will enjoy. For sports fans, you can always find a game of football or cricket is played. Shopaholics and almost all the island's capital, Port of Spain. Clothing, books, perfumes, cosmetics and household items are always readily available at affordable prices.

Different ethnic media in the islands allow everyone to visit Trinidad and Tobago and for all visitors to feel the comfort and warmth extended by existing residents.
